This is turning into a good talk, I can see you are trying to wrap your mind around this, but you don't get it. So, we have a couple of gaps to bridge.
About booing, see my post #32, this thread, that's my best effort so far.
You said;
I saw nothing that would make an opposing team need to fake injuries.
I know, it didn't work.
Going on 5 seasons, Oregon fans have watched the " blah " offense develop. We have seen it, we watch it destroy teams most every week, going on 5 years. Oregon fans have seen repeatedly, how the "blur" affects our opponents.
You said;
If UofO fans didn't have such a false view of how great their offense is
It is not a false view, we have seen it, a lot. Your's is false because, as you say,"I saw nothing".
We see this; Linemen getting so gassed they start to panic, because they know they can't compete on the next play, so they fall down.
Laying on the ground gasping, a medic attends their "cramp", as someone else gives them water, they help him off the field. Guess what, all his teammates have been resting too. Next play the cramp is gone, and he trots back onto the field.
This video shows the faking. Note the video is almost 14 minutes long. There are plenty of examples, but there's some BS in their too, the best example of faking is near the end.
