No respect and the fact that generations and generations of younger fans are basically raised on the notion that saying anything they want no matter how vile or hurtful is allowed and actually the cool thing to do. I am a LSU/Saints fan been living in Houston many years and had season tickets to the Texans for 5 years just so I could go see some football but I had to ditch them cause I couldn't continue to bring my little girl to that type of atmosphere with all the profanity, etc being spouted all game long.
Yeah, that is a pretty sad but true commentary on the way things are now. I have young ones, and would like to take them to some venues, but I am hesitant for exactly the situation you describe. We'll pick and choose and attend some things, but probably a lot less than I would have.
may as well get em accustomed to the real world early so they dont get optimistic on life or anything.
It doesn't make 55,000 fans any less of pieces of trash for booing hurt players. Every Oregon fan I met this weekend was the most arrogant POS I have ever encountered. Each one was more arrogant than the last. Of course, I left them all alone on the walk back after the game. Oregon is going to win their next two games 70-21 because that is what they do, and these same people who got shut up Saturday will just think it was just a fluke, until Oregon goes to the Rose Bowl and has to face Wisconsin or Nebraska. Of course, no one is really talking about how LSU negated the tempo of Oregon just by the defense being aggressive. I would say upwards of 75-80% of Oregon's plays took over 20 seconds of the playclock because D. Thomas was confused as hell at the LOS.
I think she's referring to the NOLA/LSU fans in the lower reaches of Bourbon Street....They kept showing the OU fans their tits...(it could have been worse) :yelwink2:
seriously, you're an ok dude but youtube replies get old. try typing how you feel and actually pissing people off. like i do.
I need to get over it a little more, and Tiger fans deserve time to celebrate, and pound their chests. LSU fans won't like all of my opinions. Not all of my opinions are fully developed. Just doesn't feel like the right time. Since, I'm not really trying to raise a fuss. I think I'll just read along for a while longer.
**** that. discuss how the bogus penalties and how home field cost you this game. no time to be innocuous.
Oregon would win this game 7/10 times. Oregon gift-wrapped LSU 20 points. Jitters led to penalties. Oregon out-gained LSU. The stats all favored Oregon besides turnovers and penalties. These are pretty much the standard responses for teams that lose to Les Miles. It is always the same story: LSU got lucky.
