Wow, what a typical Oregon response. Never take accountability for your own actions and blame it on someone else. At any rate, not sure why you want to get personal here and try to lecture me on whatever you perceive my problems to be, but we can do that if you want.

I am in Oregon at the moment. My experience here is such...most of the locals either love me or hate me based on my La. (New Orleans really) personality. The problem I have is the constant back-stabbing, and I have found that there are no true friendships here, even amongst natives. People here stab each other in the back all day long, and then the next day you look at this person and say, "what's your problem"? Well, you are the problem. Take some accountabilty and personal responsibility. While I realize there are problems everywhere, I am not going to sit here and have you tell me that the problems that nearly all of us Saints fans encountered in Seattle was somehow our fault or that I brought the misery upon me. I am not going to sit here and stand idly by while you imply that the anti-southern sentiment in your little burg is somehow the result of something I have done. You are ridiculous. I know too many southerners that have lived in your little burg and come away thinking WTF?

Some of the people around here may think you are a cool poster, and maybe you sometimes are, but if you are like your "countrymen" in Oregon, I know how you really are. You all have it in you. You all seem to have a problem with taking personal responsibility and being personally responsible.

The latest articles in your Oregonian today imply that Oregon probably would have won had this game been at Autzen Stadium. Whatever. I knew it wouldn't take long before you guys found some way to spin out of the butt-kicking you took.

BTW, I am jaded about Oregon and the people. The first time I went there, I thought it was pretty neat or even great. That didn't last long. I can get on a very long rant about this and provide many, many examples, but I leave just one that stands out to me pretty much more than any others. My Mom was in town visiting. We went to a New Orleans Hornets v. Portland Trailblazers game at the Rose Garden. We were neutrally dressed, but were there to watch the New Orleans team. Some asshat in front of the arena asked us for change. Like we usually do in NOLA or in the east coast cities in which we have lived, we just walked by. This asshat white punk proceeded to call my Mom a "f*cking c*nt". Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. I wanted to kill that MFer right in the street. But being the southern "gentleman" that I am supposed to be, and realizing that I was not in New Orleans where justice would pound this idiot over the head and send him to OPP, I kept my mouth shut (for the sake of my Mom, which she later said she appreciated).

That made an indelible impression upon me that has endured. I have several more examples. Do you want to read them? I'm guessing not, and I am guessing that there is no need for it. What these LSU fans on this board don't know that I do know is what your state is really like. And most of these fans here would simply not like it. The only thing really to like about Oregon is your beer.

 

I am not interested. And I am not interested in taking a lecture from you. You have escalated this, but I can finish it. All things being equal, I'd rather not, as it is a waste of time arguing with you podunkers about your lack of manners and your penchant to blame everyone else for absolutely everything. Adios, coullion!

 

I understand they thought we were trying to "slow" down their tempo, but we did that by forcing three & outs, not faking injuries. The booing of injured kids was just classless & pathetic
