You can thank Lorenzen for that. A Kentucky win Saturday and it would have been JP for sure.

    marcmc99,

    You got that right! :D

Texastigers and the rest of the gang,

This is not meant to be flame, so don't take it that way. But if you want LSU to play with the big boys, get respect, and be a NC contender, you have to play at 11:30-3:30 pm.

I know all about night games and the tailgating tradition at LSU (Lived there for 20 years, been to more LSU games than Gator games), but that tradition means nothing to the pollsters and media. You can't be a NC contending team and play all games at night in Death Valley.

    Pick one or the other.

If LSU starts fielding a consitently dominant team, maybe we could demand that CBS air the game at night. Of course, we have to abide by the SEC contract. The contract should allow for nighttime games occasionally.

CBS would never want to preempt its primetime programming. You see how quickly they cut away from the Arky/Bama game? The kick was barely thru the uprights before they cut away.

I agree with Soviet. While watching a night game on ESPN all you hear are the talking heads talking about what all the studs did earlier in the day.

You have to be ready to play anytime, anywhere if you want to be considered among the elite. Soviet is right. This is the time to show that it doesn't matter what time we play. We are ready to bring our "A" game in the afternoon.
