The team can lose quite a bit on D and be better with a balanced, skilled and talented O.

Make no mistake about it, losing Mingo and Montgomery alone is a HUGE loss.

Sure would be nice if those two decided to give it another ride for a NC next season. Oh well, one can dream.

Is Mingo going to have to bulk up a bit to be effective in the NFL?

Yes. It might be good for him to stay another year, but it's hard to pass up first round money, nor should he.

I thought he was a senior as well. I think he would be a late round pick at this point so another year will certainly boost his stock. Our D interior line will still be sick with talent but Rasco and Hunter and company have some huge shoes to fill on the edges.

So did Mingo and Big Sam, and every DE before them going as far back as Marquise Hill and Marcus Spears. We'll reload, like we always do. Plus, they'll get a LOT of help from the LB position, which by all rights should just be sick.

Dude our LB corp is going to be off the charts, especially if Minter comes back.

Deon Jones...you never have to wonder if he's in the game because 45 will be in on the play. That kid is awesome.
