    A poster on BeaverTalk responded to a query about the number they had and the response was 5,000, which have been sold, and they are hoping to get more from LSU.

    You have to deduct visitors tickets as well. Also the tickets that never go on sale, like the ones given to corporate sponsors, legislators, etc.

    That's why some games (most SEC games) NEVER have single game tickets available. They are sold out before ever going on sale.
