Actually, seems I heard a report on the radio that Chaz was possibly going to miss the season with some weird back muscle spasm problem or something.. anyone got any info on that? Ain't karma a beeeootch?
He got him from twisting and turning in bed...from having nightmares of Glenn Dorsey coming back for revenge.
I tried clicking on the link to that YouTube video, then I tried cutting-and-pasting it, then I tried using various web browsers to access it, and this is what I get: "This video has been removed by the user." Can anybody here explain what that video showed?
Islstl, of the hundreds of regular posters on here, you are one of the very rare posters on here (think 5-star rare) that is really, really into knowing football... I love getting to learn your take because of that. However, I honestly have no idea what your feelings are about our front lines. Could you elaborate more on what you think about our front lines? You say that "we will be in every single game this season because of it," but I think our front lines are going to be much more dominant than that. Every strong football team has front lines that "keep them in the game." I think LSU's front lines are much, much greater than just "keeping us in the game." I think LSU's front lines will be big time game-breakers for LSU, big time explosive for LSU... and that it is quite possible that our DL and OL are the best in the nation (this something I plan to study more). I've read a good bit of posts on here that think our OL is currently the greatest LSU has had in decades, and that our DL is at least just as good as any of the best DLs we have featured in recent decades. What say you? Is this the greatest OL we've had in recent decades or not? What about our DL, how do you think our current DL stacks up against the great DLs we've had in previous years? What about compared to the rest of the teams in college football this year? Is our OL the best OL in college football this year? I don't remember reading any post here on TF from anybody saying we have the best OL in college football, but I personally think that we very possibly do have the best OL in college football this year (its something I plan to study more). As for our DL, its the same thing. I want to know about this.
So in summary regarding the DL: NCAA LSU DL: Woods 6-4, 324 Alexander 6-3, 310 Favorite 6-1, 306 Aubrey 6-3, 296 Nevis 6-1, 294 Jean-Francois 6-3, 289 NFL Saints DL: Thomas 6-0, 335 Lake at 6-4, 308 Ellis 6-1, 307 Clancy 6-1, 305 Harris 6-3, 300 Young 6-2, 298 Does anybody know if these six guys are really the top six guys for LSU and the Saints next season at DL? I'm still researching just how great the LSU DL is this year as well as how great the Saints DL is this year, but from what I've seen so far from the forums I read, there are many Saints fans that think the Saints DL is something to brag about (honestly, I see more Saints fans excited about how great their DL is than I see Tiger fans that think LSU's DL is something to brag about). Regardless, to have the LSU line compared to the Saints DL is pretty freaking amazing, especially since I think the worst DL in the NFL (extremely well-paid adults that make average salaries higher than even medical doctors) would be much more dominant than the best DL in NCAA football (18 to 23 year-old kids). Also, one of my research interests is learning why I haven't seen anybody who thinks Woods is going to be great at LSU. The guy was a 5-star recruit, and look how huge he is compared to the rest of our DL. Yet, I don't see anybody giving that guy any hype. It's something I want to learn more about. Anybody have any intelligent thoughts about this?
Most linemen are tall and heavy. Every team in the SEC has size. The great linemen are tall, heavy, quick, agile, and smart.
