UCLA has a few issues on Floor. That basically killed their chance. OU was just scoring way too high for LSU to catch up. LSU still had a pretty high score though.
Pretty shocking on the floor. I haven't followed that closely but I know ucla has a floor gymnast who has scored a ridiculous amount of 10's on that apparatus. I think the pressure of the moment got in their heads. Their coach is retiring now and I'm sure they wanted to deliver for her. Not sure if it's the same gymnast in tiga's vid above (sorry bruh, I didn't watch it) but a couple days ago, Katelyn Ohashi was ranked first nationally in floor exercise after recording a perfect 10.0 in six meets. She's just the fourth gymnast in NCAA history to have a 10.0 national qualifying score on any event.
Dang! Was hoping they'd bring home the natty, but 3x defending SEC champs and runner up nationally ain't too shabby for a sport that relies on the objectiveness of judges to crown their champions.
The judges were probably all from Oklahoma. Who the hell really knows what makes one girl bouncing or swinging from a bar better than the other ones?
