LSU gymnastics. 2nd overall 2019!

Thats a lie. I was very satisfied with the 2017 baseball team and celebrated what they did that year.

 

Both. You get trophies and medals for 2nd place in gymnastics don't you. And girls celebrate anything bc they are happy and emotional and need validation.

The contrast from men is good and honoring the team coach and fans is good imo. Dede prolly retires soon anyhow. You can finish second and still celebrate successes. That's all this is. Girls aren't guys and that's a good thing. Lets try to keep it that way.

Would you have put up a billboard? It was a good season that fell just short of expectations. Since LSU was 6-0 in National championship game or series appearances I suppose the law of averages caught a to us. Good season and maybe we would have beat Florida if Eric Walker hadn't gotten but but nothing to pop the cork on a bottle of champagne for.

As far as gymnastics goes maybe LSU really was the best but the other team got more likes from the judges. Who the hell knows. If you want to aay "we was robbed" there is nothing anybody can say to either confirm it or refute it. Just like the Oscar goes to the one who is most popular among the voters since there is no objective criteria to guage acting ability.

 

I guess it's better than putting up a "1st Loser" billboard.

 

It’s not a moto cross so in this case it’s “last loser.”

Personally I would never celebrate 2nd place. Many Rec ball and school ball (middle and high schools) put State Runners- up, even District Runners-up in gyms for Basketball.

IN THIS CASE, it’s a billboard. Billboards are for advertisement. I’m ok with that. In fact I think it’s a good move. You have to sell your product.

 

You mean YOU are not aware of any criteria.

You know where a bareback rider’s score comes from?

What about a good run by a steer wrestler? You think it’s a simple squeeze of the stop watch that determines a quick time?

 

Why don't you write the billboard slogans?

"Sign With LSU and get a Participation Trophy" or "Kittens Grow Up to be Tigers - Maybe" or "Nobody Does it Better- Except Oklahoma."

STFU as long as UL, Southern and Tulane are whipping our asses in baseball.

 

You can't watch any of those events and know who won unless a judge tells you.

 

And LSU baseball is not butting up billboards to celebrate those losses.
