The curse has been broken as of late, and will continue that way until further notice.

Well since we are only talking about this century, how about sticking to the thread which by the way LSU is 5-1 against bama this century with another ass whoopin waiting for you on Saturday.

btw, isn't there a grave site that needs to be polished today or something, cause I know the spirit of bear was turning following last weekends debacle.

Bammers will live in the 20th century forever, I guess. In the 21st century Bama is a second-tier SEC team, sonny.

the only thing "cursed" around here is your football team. they frickin suck. How can you go from a national power to a doormat? The bear is definitely turning.

The problem with Alabama football is politics with non-football people (aka boosters) making decisions on who their head coach should be.

I heard the son of Paul Bear Bryant has pumped more than 46 million dollars into the university. You think he has any say-so in who is the head coach? Ironically, the word on the street is that it's not time for a coaching change, and that he still supports Shula.

So, there you go. Problem in a nutshell.

Off on all of your assumptions. The people pushing decisions are booster, but those boosters are football people; teams from the '60's.

Yes, Paul Bryant Jr. does have a say-so as to who runs the football program. As a member of the Athletic Oversight Committee (part of the Board of Trustees) he's supposed to have a say-so. It's his job.

What ever street you are going to in order to get "word?"...you need to go to another. It just so happens that PB Jr., like a lot of us, isn't happy about what he's seeing on the field (or off of it for that matter).
