I was thinking the same thing

 

From what I understand, he isnt Mike VI until they are sure he will take to his new surroundings.. once they determine that he is able to live there, in good health, then he will be "crowned"...

 

Why did we not mate the previous Mike (any of them) and have their cub as the next Mike? Is that too hard to do? Would have been nice to have some lineage... Just curious.
