Great recruiter and solid O-Line guy. He reeled in Greg Robinson (with Trooper) and Patrick Miller for Auburn, both leans to LSU at one point. Grimes has sent more than a handful of guys to the NFL, although the biggest name is probably Levi Jones. I'm sure that Grimes will be spending a lot of time in North LA.

It would have been awesome to see Wilkerson, Mawae or Sale come back...

Dig a little deeper in who he was coaching this year, had a freshman playing LT. His line got way better as the year went on. VT wanted to keep him, but couldn't match the money.

Been on the road, haven't had time to make some calls. Spent a little time at Rice and A&M. Spent time as RGC and AHC, will look for a little more info. This one kind of caught my eye.......

Reid was his OL coach for 2 years and Koetter was his OC for 3 years, too much offensive knowledge in that span.

One of the Head Coaches at UTEP was Bob Stull.

Ok, gonna like this one. Stull was the OL coach at Kent St from 71-74, on that staff was a GA, nick saban.

Stay with me here folks. The second Head Coach that Jeff played under at UTEP, David Lee. David has been in and out of the NFL and has been an OC/QB coach over the years. He was the Dolphins OC in 2007, the Dolphins Head Coach, Cam Cameron.

I say all the time, you won't find a tighter group than Football Coaches.

Well, considering how bad Stud has been, maybe we shouldn't be so harsh? ;)

I think they call that 6 degrees of Preparation H.

If you dig deep enough, you finally get to the asshole.

Yeah I don't see harshness in any of the posts. I would characterize it as general malaise, or ennui if you like.

From what I get, recruiting, along with his coaching are first class. The guy can close on players when it come to recruiting.
You are leaving yourself open on this one you know.
