LSU is "WR Factory?"

I'm not labeling him a bust. This is just one comment on him. I've read mixed reviews and frankly Devery seems to get more props.

LSU’s Michael Clayton, 6-2, 209, is ultra-productive, but he’s not a top workout guy, and that hurts his stock. He’s not a top athlete and his route-running needs work, but he catches the ball and could be this year’s Anquan Boldin.

Randy Moss has just moved from JR to Tom Brady. If he can't recover his stats next year, it's all on him. The guy is still a head case.

Bowe better hope that Trent Green is going to have a good year.

From a guy who's a long established Mel Kiper fan? Nice blog, hardly a Nobel Prize effort. Rhetorical question here but is there ONE sportswriter/commentator who can discuss the BQ story without mentioning his girlfriend? :nope:

Interesting to note that Carolina now has 3 USC WR's.....Key, Colbert, and now DJ. Throw in Center Ryan Kalil and the Panthers are right up there with the Saints as my favorite team. :thumb:

How can you have two favorite teams playing in the same division??:dis:
If you said that to Deion Sanders, he would've shot you in the head, he was pissed because two teams in the same division TRADED with each other.

That's the great thing about pro sports. My favorites are based on what players I like to watch, not necessarily who will win it all. All respect to Neon but sometimes that's just the way it goes.

You never actually watched Clayton, did you?

Sorry if I didn't make it clear. That was a quote from a pro scouting site, not my own. I've seen him play but not nearly enough to make any kind of assessment and certainly not about his work/practice ethic. After having read some of the different pro forums/sites, Devery gets more positive comments than Clayton. It seems that if Clayton can put some weight back on he'll be producing again.

For those of you who are interested, Buster Davis will be wearing #84 next season.

Question wasn't posed to me, but here's one I found on a search that corroborates what she said. I'm not a big NFL person -watch very little-so it surprises me to hear that too- based on what I know of Clayton.

Thanks, Tiga. But I was just wondering where the "not a top athlete" came from...

He's a friend of mine and I've always heard him described as a great athlete with an exceptional character.
