Since I had the remarkable good fortune of attending that game....I will never have the images, sounds, and emotions that I felt at Commonwealth Stadium that day erased from my memory. :shock: :grin: :tigerhead :shock: :grin:
At least we had a LCD projector set up for that game. We were watching the game and the screen was 7 or 8 feet from top to bottom. I could hardly stand up after the catch and boy was I light headed.
It was as surreal a thing as I have ever seen. We are all pretty disgusted sitting in the upper deck at Commonwealth, just waiting for it to be over, and then...! There was a second or two of not comprehending what I was seeing and then complete euphoria - or was that the Bloody Marys at the catered tailgate outside the stadium?
I noticed in the ESPN promo for the voting they used the "unedited" radio call unlike the one posted by TAF.
