I go to school with the guy and he is one of the finest defensive linemen in the history of high school football in the state of Mississippi. Assuming he can keep his grades up, he could be a starter his freshmen year. Trust me, this guy could play as a Pro tomorrow if they would let him. LSU lucked up.
Maybe a world class student academic center to help athletes get an education coupled with great facilities and great coaches and some of the most talented teammates in the country had more to do with it than “luck”.
We all hope he qualifies. Would love to see this monster as a Tiger. Also have heard a rumor that he may go pro after Juco if he doesn't qualify. Hopefully he will though and we will see him in Purple and Gold. :geaux:
true, now if we can just land the "other" great MS player. Derek P. I got my finger's crossed but it ain't looking good. why is he going JuCo first? andwhere is he going? surely not CO-LIN?
Thanks GoldenEagle...here's the earlier thread on Powe...nice, short 73 message thread! http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?t=24731
Yeah, yeah...Just say it.... LUCK. Auburn already has two of the finest Wayne County players playing on their team. Auburn has very close relations with our school as it is. It was almost a definate he was going there. Im just glad he chose LSU.
If luck is the same thing as world class facilities, a top team, top stadium, and a top coach..then yes luck did bring him here.
What is his GPA? Do you have any idea? Perhaps you've heard...or have you heard his SAT/ACT score since you are around him? If you see him tell him what a great choice he made, he will follow our other DL players right into the NFL if he comes here
