How in the world did they think those LBers were good enough. My son plays on a soccer team with Rick Mueller's sons. One day after a few drinks, I might ask him.
Saints are the only team not to draft a defensive back yet it was their biggest need. 32 teams, 255 picks total and guess who did nothing? datz right.... Deuce and Horn are the heart and soul of that team. SF had them beat last week with their pathetic team. hello 6-10. Look for Saints to go 1-4 or 2-3 the next 5 with deuce out.
dont look for them to fire him either, they'd have to pay off his contract and hire someone for more money to sell their precious tickets. ain't likely to happen.
What makes you think Benson will hire anybody better than Haslett when he finally fires him? Benson could somehow phuck it up if Vince Lombardi returned from the grave to coach the Aints.
I thought the Saints were going to trade for Mckinzy from green bay. Mark Roman took his spot when mckinzy held out! :geaux:
This turned into a Saints thread! Now back to the subject at hand. I don't think I ever drank as much in as short a time span as I did during the Sugar Bowl. Playing for the NC caused that. Not just LSU alone. My anxiety level was way to high and when Skylar scored I started hyperventilating and knew I needed drinks to calm down. I got calm but was still pumped. At the end of the game and seeing what appeared to be four television screens I broke down and wept with joy. I don't even want to describe what I felt like the next day. Pure joy mixed with the worst hangover on the planet. Now that's an odd sensation.
