And you could start gameplanning weeks ahead of future opponents even though there are games in between as well. The point is that teams don't generally do it.
Would you want a home game on a Thursday? F-that! It would be a travesty, for me anyway. Saturday is the best for CFB, I don't want to tailgate on any other day.... Arky game is the only exception.
No. NO. NO. If I'm in Tiger Stadium watching a football game on any night but Saturday, it had better be because the Saints can't play in the Superdome. And hopefully, never again.
Nutriaitch....... the thread was discussing Thursday night games as well. Good effort trying to crawfish but your initital response to mine didn't qualify . Sometimes I misread too but I just own up! We're all on the same team here:thumb: Thanks Cparso, my internet was down last night when that bad moma blew threw Evangeline Parish.
I have no problems with moving this away game against a crappy team to Thursday night. It'll be the first game of the year and all eyes would be watching us. If the game stays where it is, odds are it would be an 11:30 TV game or none at all. It'll also give us a couple of extra days to prepare for VT. But never a Thursday night game in Tiger Stadium.
Agreed. I couldn't imagine how lame campus would be for a Thursday night game. Even if it started at 8:30 that would only give people a couple hours of drinking and tailgating depending on where you come in from for the games. That's OK for Moo State because they are a dry city anyway.
NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! If it was a one time thing and an away game i'd be ok, but i don't want the SEC playing thurs night games.
