I have no problem so long as it is a D-1 school. It is good to start the season off with a couple of rent-a-wins in order to iron out the rough spots before you go into the meat of the season. I remember when we used to open with top-rated teams and ended up with a 1-0 at the start the season. It was a real downer for the fans and the team. I was glad when we stopped the practice.
I hope it does happen, I wouldnt mind LSU getting warmed up against a stout Miss St. defense to prepare LSU for a great VT defense. I think it will help the LSU o-line get into sync going up against a powerful SEC D-line. I am up for anything that will help upgrade our SOS. We need to get the adrenaline flowing early this year.:crystal: :geauxtige
