People generally associate the Big Ten with Ohio State and Michigan... and I guess that's fair ... as even in their bad years they're not too far from the top of the league. But there is also alot of "myth" tied to that because the conference title has been won or shared over the last fifteen years by eight of the league's 11 teams. It's probably been ten years since OSU has played in the Rose Bowl, nor forgetting 2002 when they went to the Fiesta instead. Florida pretty much dominated the SEC in the 90's with Bama bobbin' their heads once or twice, while everyone in the Big Ten were taking turns winning the conference. It's just real hard to separate the tradition some teams have (and the fans) from the reality of "current" times.... take Bama, for example.:hihi:
