That's the good thing about the SEC, win and you're in.

Am I in some weird twilight zone where the AP hasn't tried to screw us out of a NC????

Suddenly they move us up 1 spot and it's a shame that they aren't in a position to screw us over?

    NO THANKS! AP can GFTs.

For now, anyway. Ever think all the circling of wagons lately has to do with something with a "more level playing field"?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am not a big fan of this constant flip-flopping by the AP. What's the sense of all that? As for OU being #1, good. They always seem to perform well there in BCSNCGs when facing the SEC anyway. lol BTW, I'd rather play them than Bama right now. That Nov. 5 game is going to be tough as nails.

An attempt. If the PAC succeeds in adding the teams talked about today they will come closer. All the talk about the ACC additions make their conference weaker. Not sure what other conference is going to step up, the big 12 is dead. The SEC only needs one spot in the championship game. Nothing I see happening stops the winner in the SEC from claiming one of the two.

The AP poll is a bad joke. I don't even so much as glance at it. Handing USC 1/2 of our title and not stripping them of 2004 when they won games with illegal players(Bush) did it for me. Championships are won on the field, not in popularity contests with pencil-pushers.

How so? OU beat a great FSU team. I'm not saying I would have changed by vote but I can see the argument. None of it matters anyway, even if we lose one game and win the SEC, we'll be there.

If this team runs the table it will be the greatest team in lsu history. Fitting that lee, after being booed out the stadium, would be the qb. Miles would go down as the greatest coach ever in purple and gold.
I doubt it will happen , but look at last year. We were in every game with no qb output. Many said if we had a passing game we wouldn't have lost any games. We have a passing game now. The defense is monsterous. We have an all star cast of coaches. There is a shot at a perfect season if injuries are limited. We have great depth, even at qb. The best 1-2 punch at running back and a solid o-line. There is a shot that this will be the year. I'm glad lee is the qb after what has went down in his career. Were talking comback of the century.

What if we end up with 4 Super Conferences and a 4 team playoff? I'm not up to snuff on the possible future arrangements that could be taking place but have "heard" a little bit of this and that, possibly.
