I think that's a horrible way of judging whether we have a top program or not. Look at Florida when Spurrier left, they got Zook. Look at Miami when Davis left, they got Coker. It's about who is available at the time and Patrino and Miles seem to be real candidates. Just because we don't have coaches banging down Bertman's door DOES NOT mean we aren't a top five program. That's silly.

I think someone like a Tedford and even a Spurrier would be interviewing for either the OU, FSU, Miami and USC programs. Screw geographics with Tedford. That's a lame excuse. If the program is appealing enough to someone, they would go to China to coach.
We are just now hearing about Beamer, finally. That's another one that should be knocking down our door, if we are truly a top 5 program. WTF is a VTech? Top 20?
