Tied 4-4 in top of 8th inning. Ole Miss has just self-destructed in the outfield, missing two easy popups, allowing the tying run to score. Now going to bottom of 8th tied at 4. Auburn leading Arkansas 4-1 in the third....
it was close and Ole miss was worried right up until the last pitch. This was one of the better games I've seen win or lose both teams played their asses off. I'd give the pitching nod to Ole miss ( barely ) and the fielding to LSU. We put more wood on the ball though. so why did we lose? C babineax batted 2 runs in and we didnt get many guys on deck to bat in. timing, luck, whatever.
