BUT, we have played two top 15 teams. One in which that has a QB who already has over 1400 yards and 17 Touchdowns. Teams like Auburn, Virginia tech, etc. have played at least 2 cupcakes. We get two teams who we out-talent at every position the next two weeks, so the stats will come.:geauxtige
We play two top 15 teams, we had no cupcake game, my granny has a hangnail... We suck and there is no excuse! We have the #2 or #3 defense in the country with this sorry a$$ result. I was around in the Dinardo/ tepper days and I remember the apologists telling everybody to give it time, it is going to work. This sounds exactly like it did then; Might even be the same people!
Since this thread is about stating the obvious, here's your explanation: Florida gave up 6 points because they allowed Tennessee to get the football into the endzone. The seventh point resulted from Tennessee kicking the football through the goal posts after the aforementioned touchdown. LSU gave up 30 points because they allowed Tennessee to repeat step one (above) four times, and Tennessee kicked the ball through the goal posts without first putting the ball into the endzone, thus awarding them three points.
where is my record player b/c that was some good spin analysis. our defense still is one of the worse in the country.
Read my post again. I don't recall ever mentioning that our defense was good. It was a simple explanation for a simple question.
yeah well our passing d sucked again today.I really wish they would hand the dc tag to Dunbar and demote pelini to lb coach for now.
We gave up 190 yards... 60 or so on one play! Get a clue! And the $50,000 question Regis: "How many points did we give up?" SEVEN DING DING! Again... get a clue!
yeah we got better at the end but in the beginning we were still giving up those short passes. Clair did you watch the game or listen to it? If you watched it then you know they had quite a few guys open.
