LSU played a good game yesterday despite the loss. I was very impressed with our young players.

For a long period of time we had Tack Minor (Frosh); Darrel Mitchell (soph.); Regis Konjuia (Frosh.); Ross Neltner (Frosh): and Brandon Bass (Frosh); in the game. That is four freshman and one sophomore.

These guys played their hearts out against a senior laden Kentucky team.

We were perfect at the free throw line, but just got beat by a better ball club.

I want to commend all of our players, the guys mentioned above and Antonio Hudson and Darnell Lazarre for all playing a great game.

They have nothing to hang their heads about. We are a young team that is improving.

If Jaime can regain his form we will make some noise in the NCAA Tourney. Saying that, I still think we will get an NCAA bid, with all the parity in college basketball.

Yesterday's game is an exhibit of the level of competitiveness we'd like from our team. Winning isn't the biggest issue, but getting blown-out and embarrassed is. We played well in front of a national audience.

Ditto, thiers no reason this team couldn't play this way against
    Auburn or Vandy.

Showing up for 1 out of 4 games shouldn't be good enough.

I thought this team showed heart and determination. If this team stays together, watch out! Four freshman and one soph. on the court for the majority of the time and holding their own against a team like Kentucky is awesome. I can't imagine any LSU fan being upset after watching this team play Sunday. I personally sat in front of my TV and visualized these guys playing in the Final Four in 2 years. Hey - you might as well dream big!

Agreed. The Tigers are young and played Kentucky tough. Our basketball team has a bright future.

I think there is a reason---MATCHUP PROBLEMS. At least for the Vandy game. Without Koundja, those two big guys killed us. I'm not sure of what could have stopped them. Bass and Lazare couldnt handle them out there.

No matchup problems with UK. Hudson better be ready or Reed will tear us a new one this week. Reed needs to score for them to have a decent chance.

Your probably right since I haven't been able to see the game.

I have sportspack and ESPN fullcourt and they quit showing LSU
for some reason after the Florida game.

I saw quite a few games up until then, the only reason I saw
the Kentucky game is because of CBS.

It doesn't look like I'll get the last 2 LSU games since I can't find
    them listed on Tivo.

Watching the SEC tourney and some of the other tournaments
is money enough for my ESPN Fullcourt package.

I like to keep up with Fresno State and a few other schools this time of year.
