What a poorly written piece that is. It'll take the rest of the night to figure out who's on first...jeeeez.
And it is taking them 2 and a half months to file charges on something that simple......................How long will it take before this case is layed to rest...............2 and a half years??
Just saw this on WWL.com: Analysis: Jordan Jefferson Likely To Sit Out Against Oregon - WWL - AM870 | FM105.3 | News | Talk | Sports :geauxtige
I can't tell who the tall guy (in black) in the video is, but I can tell who it looks like. In it's raw form I doubt a jury would buy it, but they can freeze frame it, blow it up, computer enhance it and identify that person I'm guessing. Now a search warrant, and DNA? I think the BRPD is building a case, not just fact finding.
Then you have a different video than the one I've seen. In the one I watched there is a guy that kicks another guy and that is about all you can tell. He never looks at the camera (that I can tell) and if he did the video is so grainy you wouldn't be able to identify him anyway. Good luck blowing this up too. The bigger you make it the crappier the quality of the picture will become.
I just watched the video this morning and my take is the same as everyone else's. I can hear the name "J" or "Jeff" being said and clearly "5-0." I can see the kick but it appears to be the upper back not the head. I really do not see how you can convict anyone off of this, unless it was a kick to the back and you can find the shoe that matches the print on the shirt. I'm thinking since the girl in the video has front row seats, if you find her and get the "truth" out of her you can solve this case. And then get on with football.
Grainy yes, but computer enhancement could fix that, MAYBE. Still iffy, but possible I'd say. The voice that says "let's go Jeff", and now the search warrant and the DNA swab? I've supported Jefferson and even admired him for remaining pretty stoic in the face of criticism and have been open minded about all this but right now I think Jefferson's in trouble.
