I hope Miles has already made his decision who is playing and who is not. And to be honest, if Jefferson kicked this dude in the head, I don't give a rats ass what the dude did, this is the Senior quarterback leader of the team, who almost got his head coach fired, and this is how he repays him? By ruining what could be a magical season? Screw that man, I would Janzen Jackson his ass.

I agree. The bottom line is JJ got himslf nvolved in this garbage. He will ultimately pay the price. I am not trying to justify packs of lsu athletes beating anyone up. However, until all the evidence comes to light for both sides, it is not without reason that JJ did not throw the first punch, nor any LSU player for that matter. It is entirely plausible that the players were defending themselves?? As a fan of all LSU athletics, I am holding my hat on that vs our athletes just beat some dude because they could.

I have to agree with LaSalle on this one, if LSU is going to stand and fight for anything after this fall camp, it has to be integrity.

I really hope that CLM has a tight grip on this program, cause the Ducks are now just licking their beaks and are probably going to end up looking better than they actually are, win or lose.

that's true they could be defending themselves however, why put yourself in that situation in the first place. Be the bigger man and walk the **** away, it's 3 weeks before you play the number 3 team in the country.

Right, establishing that this guy is a douchebag on a rampage, even attacking his ex girlfriend, could indicate that this wasn't the random lynching that is being portrayed.

Still, JJ should not have been involved, and he needs to at least be temporarily suspended until everything is played out.

Right? But apparently they were clearly not thinking about that, If Jefferson is found guilty, he probably felt that he was doing the right thing at that moment by being a leader and going after someone who phucked with one of HIS teammates. As a leader he felt that HE needed to step in without truly thinking about the consequences.

After three years, I feel like most of us can tell that this kid is no monster, and if he is guilty and knows it, this is killing him inside right now.

In court, sure. But, in the real world, a street fight has no rules. There is stomping, there are weapons pulled, bottles thrown, eyes gouged, balls kicked, and bones broken.
