no, i was planning on going out with your wife for a few drinks instead. :D

she said to tell you she got a new bottle of dish soap for you to wash the dishes she left in the sink.

and not to derail (too much), we promise to be good and not get in any fights. :D

So you know for a fact that JJ was involved in a parking lot brawl.

And hindsight being 20/20 he should have been watching film with his Tiger teammates. Oh wait, you say. They were also at said club with JJ. Maybe they were watching film prior to said parking lot brawl.

ok, back to the thread. yes, they were being typical college students. however, with their positions, they need to be more in control to not get in fights. they need to learn to walk away from situations whenever possible. even if completely innocent and they were victims, the press is gonna spin it however they want. we do not need more bad publicity.

the only pass is if they were physically attacked and it was self defense. anything else is bad judgement of the situation. not necessarily going to a bar, but how they handled the responsibility they have placed on them with their positions with whatever might have come up while there, if it was anything short of self defense.

From all reports I've read it's really hard to know if he was fighting or possibly just there. What we know so far is that he was standing outside the bar with other players that were there and the fight broke out, but where did the fight break out? Did he and other players try to break the fight? I haven't read any reports that say any witness has claimed he hit anyone or even threw a punch. If witnesses would have told the cops that JJ hit them then I can't imagine the cops waiting this long to question him. Without knowing what happened we can't say he used bad judgement by being in a fight unless we know he was actually fighting.

exactly, to me it shows complacency. "Road House" should be

    a. on the practice field
    b. in the weight room
    c. home asleep.

If there is ANY spare time he should have his nose in his play book or watching game film.

Why, yes I do and thanks for asking.

I have no idea what transpired early this morning regarding JJ and possibly other LSU football players. Do you?

I'll rely on Les and the LSU athletic staff to gather all of the FACTS and determine if disciplinary action is warranted.
