Oversigning classes is showing integrity. Did we just not have a scandal about improper benefits? I know we are all Tiger fans, but to think we dont operate in some gray areas is naive.

Every class in almost every major program over signs for obvious reasons. As for improper benefits, a coach was let go as well as the player, who just so happens never was played... to think Miles runs a dirty program or throws players under the bus to protect his own a$$ is just stupid.

I guess I missed the one where 50 players on a Nick Saban team jumped curfew

Yes I think this reflects on Les and he needs to take steps to show me he is in control of the team. If you don't have issue with mass jumping of a 10:30 curfew we are not on the same page.

Sure I have an issue with that.

The issue I have with your post is Nick Saban worship. You have no idea how Nick would handle things. Nick had 8 players arrested in his first three months at Alabama. How did he handle it?

Not saying he runs a dirty program arse munch. Not saying he is throwing kids under the bus. But he has to protect himself. He has to sit in recruits homes and tell parents he will protect their sons. He can not say openly "I will allow your son to go out, get drunk, and party like their is no tomorrow." Don't think this will not come up on his next recruiting visit. I just wonder if he or other coaches looked the other way on a curfew the night before an off day? Now that they acted like fools, he has a curfew to fall back on.

This ain't good. Nathan Fisher was Perrilloux's attorney. He was also the attorney for one of the biggest crack dealers in BTR history. The dealer was a confidential informant/witness in another crack dealer case in federal court, for which I served on the jury.

Dude is major expensive and typically represents people with serious problems.

I think Fisher has been representing players long before RP.

I suspect he's doing this work pro bono *wink* *wink*

    come on guys

that is not fair - I love Les and get kidding for it

Les and Nick do a great job with kids but I think the fear of Nick is a major factor

Les uses a father figure and respect

that is my point - Nick and fear working - Les and respect failed this time

I am the anti- Nick worship guy

    Exactly.

Anyone who thinks players breaking curfew is an uncommon occurring at ANY school (maybe excluding BYU) is extremely naive.

The curfew is basically another thing saying "If you go out, we had better not find out. So don't do anything stupid." It's also a way that coaches don't have to "ban" bars for these guys.

There is possibly more to this 'curfew break' than we know. The fact that 50 players including a lot of the unity council took part makes it seem a lot less spur of the moment than it did on Friday. It's possible the breaking curfew on the last day of camp is a nod wink team building tradition. It plainly turned out different than designed but it may have been a planned outing.

Also, if it was a non sanctioned team building event planned by the players then the questions about JJs leadership for being there may be off target. If most of the key members of the team are going on such an outing how would sitting in the dorm show leadership?
