Unless JJ says he did it, I have a hard time believing he would fight or kick someone in the head. To my memory this guy has never shown this kind of emotion since he has been here. Even when we as fans booed him he never lashed out at people, it just does not seem to be in his makeup. I would believe he was trying to break it up and got reconized by someone so they named him, but I just don't see thug when I look at him. The others I really dont' know much about so I guess they are fair game.
This! - Exactly, there is no way that these 4 guys are as innocent as they want us to believe. Nobody was pulled from a truck, they got out, and one was a marine? I thought Marines were trained killers. I am by no means disrespecting the Marine corp, but I thought that it was against the law for a Marine to get involved in hand to hand combat outside the military, but I guees he was "just defending" himself
Yeah. And as of now, no one knows what really happened between the time that homeboy blew his horn and the time that he got his ass kicked. Maybe he kept nudging the truck forward and some of the players felt threatened, like he was going to run over them? Maybe there was a female in front of the truck, and they were trying to stand up for her? Maybe he shouted obscenities at them, or even racial slurs? Marines are not known for being the most cool-headed of sorts. Hell, no one really is at 1:30am outside of a bar, amirite? I just find it extremely hard to believe that a group of players would drag a dude out of his truck for merely blowing the horn at them. It isn't like this team has a past of skirmishes or other troubles. The kind of troublemakers that would be required for something like that to go down probably would have been sniffed out long before now. Just my $0.02, but it seems like there is a major flaw with the story as it's been portrayed right now.
I agree with this. Despite my opinion of JJ's limited ability as a QB, he has always shown class and never any anger. I really think he was trying to break things up. It seems more his style.
If you want to jump to conclusions then go ahead, but until I see proof or hear a confession, I am giving these guys the benefit of the doubt. In most cases it takes two to tango. I don’t think that our players just pulled some dude out of truck and whipped his a$$ for honking at them. If you do than you are delusional - There is a hell of a lot more to the story than what any of us know. And if you think that I am desperate for my first post, put this in your pipe and smoke it: Is it possible that during the "breaking up" of the fight, the dude was kicked because he would stop and or let go of a player that he had on the ground? Or maybe his head was just stepped on, I mean if Davenports big a$$ steps on your head......... that can’t feel too good. It’s all speculation and until real hard evidence arises, not circumstantial he said she said bullsh!t, I’m giving these athletes the benefit of the doubt. Sorry if that pisses you off buddy
It's been said over and over that EVERYONE knows about this tradition of breaking curfew and the coaching staff just looks the other way. But when something bad comes from it, all hell breaks loose and Miles wants to put an end to it. It's just like the year the Saints drafted Cam Cleeland and he got blurred vision when he was hit with a bag of nickels veteran players were flinging at him in an "acceptable" rookie hazing that was "traditional". It wasn't until that moment that it was no longer tolerable. So, in other words, blame is far reaching.
