I with this group, "it was a fight, big deal." The situation was a powder keg waiting for the match. The dude in the truck probably was that match and once he grabbed the tiger by the tail (pun intended) he got his lunch handed to him. This went bad because of WHO is involved. When you put a bunch of teenagers drinkers together in a large crowd things are bound to happen. My wife is a cop and she says it happens all the time. Thats why Law Enforcement can't stand large crowds of drinking people, because they earn their pay. My son is a very docile kid and walks away from almost anything but he is also 6'-3" tall and goes about 280/290 with a lot of strength. Should he choose to defend himself, I am sure I would be paying someones doctor bills. I think the same thing happened here, but I will wait for evidence to pass judgment.

You've got just about all the evidence there will be.

He said, she said. Their friends are going to say one thing and the Tigers another.

If this were flipped and the driver got the drop on a group of football players do you think our players would press charges? Hell no, Miles would run them for breaking curfew and we would move on, non-issue.

It's because this guy got his a$$ handed to him by some 20 year olds who, I'm sure, didnt just pull him out of a truck because he honked and now he's embarrassed and is looking for a payday.

I heard JJ threw 4 punches, missed 3 low and 4th was picked off, after he realized he couldn't connect he took off running. Couldn't help it. :D

And the report that Jefferson kicked the guy was inaccurate. He was actually attempting to slide.

So if his teammates didn't have the pickup well blocked, why didn't Jefferson either scramble out of there or take the sack?

I agree, it is what it is.

BUT - The bigger picture was that one of them was kicked in the head and seriously injured.

If JJ did indeed do that, I expect nothing less than him to be removed from the program. Im sorry, thats just the way I feel.

Having said that, unless JJ confesses to doing that, there are 3 sides to every story and we will never know the truth, - LET HIM PLAY......and lets move forward and focus on Oregon
