I'm assuming to go out and have a good time with friends. Why do people have such an issue with this? The game is two weeks away! It's not like he went out and got hammered the night before the game. He's a 20-year-old college kid. They party. That shouldn't be an issue. Most people who go to bars don't get involved in fights.
No practice today, last fling before season/classes start. I don't know of any college team that doesn't allow their players to go out every now and then. I doubt they go out the day before a game or morning practice. They're college kids though...they don't lock em up.
The incident can, but not just going out. LSU players have been going out for years, and yes...during football season. That's nothing new, and nothing different than any college football players.
Fighting could. Not being in a bar. That's an important distinction. Football players were regulars at Fred's on Saturday nights after football games when I was in college. No one ever had any issues with that.
Not a lot of time for his teammates to adjust before the biggest opening game in LSU history in the most important season in Jordan Jefferson's history. It's a recurring problem for high-visibility athletes on public scholarships who have responsibilities.
I don't know about now, but back when I was in school, we would see various members of the team out after the games. Not a big deal.
why not let the facts come out? Wouldn't that be fair to LSU and jefferson before jumping to a conclusion on the matter? at least I'm not an effing hypocrite about it .......
