Agreed. As it has been posted before... all this investigation is turning out to be is posturing by the BRPD to show there is no special treatment given to LSU players. No way every bar fight involving broken bones is investigated for more than 24 hours. I don't blame the police, they are doing what they have to do in today's media driven world.
The BRPD mentioned that there was a lack of (meaning that they didn't interview ANYONE) a disinterested 3rd party. In other words, everyone that witnessed the fight were either on the side of the douchebags or the side of the LSU football players. They said that as of last night, they had not interviewed anyone that didn't seem to be on one side or the other.
From what I hear Fisher is an excellent attorney and well respected…I have full confidence that the players (his clients) are coming first. I am equally confident that if the time comes that he can no longer support each player’s interest fully he will do what all attorneys are ethically bound to do and that is to recommend to their clients that they should consult a attorney to protect their individual interest.

A little change of pace, who do you think had to call miles and wake him up with this news? Can you imagine what he said when he first heard that half the team skipped out and his senior starting qb got in a fight. I wonder if coach said a few out of character choice words.
I am hearing all sorts of stuff now, has anybody else heard any of this yet? - The victim is on video assaulting a female inside the bar - A grad student completely unbiased has come forward with her version of the story and is saying that the incident started in the bar by the Marine pushing a female, the 4 victims managed to make it out of the bar and into the truck...... the driver of the truck made a racial slur upon leaving, that when all hell broke loose, and that Jefferson was not involved in anything other than attempting to break up the fight. Where does this sh!t come from?
I've heard those bits, as well. Like I've been saying all along, it was nowhere nearly as simple as homeboy innocently blowing his horn and then savagely being drug from his truck and beaten down. There's a lot between point A and point B that we don't know yet, but the police are irresponsibly making no connection for the general public.
not to be a debbie downer, because there is a lot to sort out. i think in the end it will be well established the "marine" is a dbag and probably deserved more of an ass kickin than he got. but there are allegedly other "victims". we dont know who they are or their involvement. and really we dont know who has the alleged cracked vertebrae. it isnt necessarily the marine. right now everyone seems centered on dbag. there are still a lot of answered questions about others tho. so what i am getting at is be ready for anything and everything. this is far from over.
I will add to that rumor. The Marine is a part-time bouncer at Shady's but wasn't working that night and wasn't only kicked out once but twice for harassing the female. Some of the players stepped in confronted him and that is when the bar shut down. Didn't hear that any players hit anyone inside the bar. The Marine went to his truck with his friends and waited outside in his truck.
