Having worked in bars for as long as I did, I can attest that this is fact. It seemed like the drunker the guy was, the tougher he thought he was. Our bouncers had a field day with those guys when they pushed too far.
Can we get BIO's on the SEC refs or even the BIG 12 for that matter, it would be interesting to see if any of them are Former Marines
Yeah, that is a concern, no doubt. That's been somewhat alleviated, though, by the decision that the players are supposed to be paying him themselves, instead of having the University footing the bill. (That also avoids the appearance of an extra benefit, probably.) My bigger question -- and I think it's been raised and discussed, but don't specifically recall -- is that Fisher is currently representing all four. It's a little different in my practice because we usually don't get criminal defendants until after they've been arrested, had a bond set, billed or indicted, and arraigned. In that case, when there are multiple defendants stemming from the same event, I take the one whose file I first put my hands on (a random process) and send the rest out to conflict counsel. Granted none of the four have been arrested yet, but if they are I can certainly see how it would be difficult for one attorney to represent them all, especially if the charges are different. With that said, a defendant can waive any conflict that may arise during representation of more than one defendant. Not a decision I would advise, but it can be done.
I get it, its like one of those logic puzzles, you have to make a little grid and start putting x's when you figure out the clues.
Thanks for the explanation...I'm old school. I graduated from the Captain Zig-Zag school of rolling.
