So true, and then when any recruit doesn't get tons of playing time as a true freshman many fans write them off as well.

All too often, these services try to compare a player from La to one in Ga, Fla, Tx, etc. It's not until they get them together on the same field and work them, check heights and weights, etc. US Army game and others seem to help in these number ratings. Remember how Jacory Washington did so well at one of these games. This is a start, but in the end, you have to trust the coaches in their player evaluations.
I like to see a player in a game, or talk with a coach I trust.
I made a trip over to Breaux Bridge a couple years back to see Travin Dural, we both saw a talent, a guy that could do many things on both sides of the ball, play Special Teams with the best of them. He is one that if he gets back to 100%, can play with anyone.

Vandy has had 7 players back out on verbals, this is a case wanting to play for a coach, not a school.
Remember, he recruited these kids on Vandy's dime.

We have all this combined knowledge here and the only update this thread has had in 2 days is some stupid interactive map? That is bullshit!

Our nosey rosies need to get after it and give us some recruiting news.

I've got this sneaking suspicion that Jacory Washington is going to be everything Deangelo Peterson was supposed to be.

The main thing he has to work on is blocking. I am sure we will put him out wide but if he wants to stay on the field for long period of time he has to get that aspect of his game fine tuned.

Years ago this was a plus with all the TE's and WR's, downfield blocking. I look for LSU to address this again. This year OBJ and Landry did very well at this

WTF! I guess when no one is saying shit I should take that as a good sign? Dixon, Doucet, Rosetta are all spouting off about coaches being all over the damn place recruiting and we get crickets here. Maybe we are just spoiled? Damnit, if nothing else someone lie to me.
