Well Alabama does somehow get the "highest" of the 4 star recruits, they magically appear right in that meaty #35-#75 grouping, giving Bama the extra boost it needs to win the mythical recruiting NC every year.

Well, they won the non-mythical NC, too, so maybe the rankings were correct.

This class isn't going to finish how we think. We just offered another db today? I don't know how we can even take 25 yet we have over 25 guys who are projected to play for us and we keep offering at positions that would seem to be full. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

2009 - Colt McCoy injures his shoulder.
2011- They get a 2nd chance at LSU, having lost to them already.
2012 - Our defense falls apart in the last 90 seconds of the game after shutting Bama out without even a first down the entire 2nd half.

Like Paul McCartney once said, With a Little Luck.

I have no clue how we are fitting in everyone. Some are saying our cap number might be closer to 22 than 27 recruits this year, based on the max squad limit of 85. We will need a lot of attrition, but the attrition would already have taken place.

Guys like Chark might be screwed in the end.

Yeah, I hear you. Things definitely fell into place for them, but quality players certainly helps put you in position.

And they surely took full advantage when opportunity knocked at the door.

I agree with you that these rankings are not bunk as some might try to argue. The proof is how much the SEC dominates the recruiting and then turns that into 7 straight national championships. I think that's proof that simply can't be denied.

    Geauxtigs, yes they did.

Cam Robinson now above the 50 % mark in LSU's favor. The last 4 of 5 people who have voted over the past 30 days have voted LSU. None of these people are affiliated with LSU. So really good trending sign.

Predictions are staying pretty steady, with Hootie Jones now at 100 % (very nice to see), and both Fournette and McDowell with 1 % bumps in LSU's favor.

On the down side, Gerald Willis dropped from 100 to 95%, Tony Brown dropped from 97 to 94%, Speedy Noil from 74 to 71% and Cam Robinson from 54 to 48%.

Robinson's recruitment will certainly be the one that is the craziest roller coaster ride between LSU and Bama.
