LSU should go 12 and 0 next year.

There you go with that inability to comprehend simple language again. I said that it "doesn't mean we can't win them all, but that history doesn't support the expectation of going 12-0". See that? That means, I don't think it's that concrete.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize that I said to give up hope for having a good season. If memory serves me right, you don't even have to go 12-0 to compete for the SEC or NC.

I may have stumbled onto JSracingBBF's law of ignorance. When posting on a message board, always assume someone will misinterpret what you say, despite your wording pointing out the exact opposite.

Wait, who called Coach Miles a good speaker?

I think there's a lot of unknowns for LSU next year. Will Alley be back to where he was, can Vincent contribute significantly, will we have a consistent running game, will our defense be really good, who will be our QB...???

With that said, I think if LSU can go into Auburn and win then it's possible they might only lose 1 game next year (at Florida most likely). The Vols have little offensive talent, Bama will be rebuilding, Fresno could knock us off but they lost most of their best players...

I don't think Auburn will be as good as they were this year (although I still think they'll be good). They're losing their best three receivers and those guys were awesome. It's much harder to replace good wide receivers than it is to replace good running backs. We still haven't really replaced Devery or Clayton. Auburn does have an awesome running back, but he's not a secret anymore. Without those receivers, everyone is going to be keying in on stopping the run and it's going to be hard for Auburn with new receivers and still a relatively young QB. Also, I think Auburn has a tougher SEC schedule next year. Their OOC scedule is laughable and they play 8 home games next year, but they play some SEC big boys.

LSU and Florida should be the favorites, but I wouldn't say LSU should go 12-0. There's just too many unknowns. But...anything's possible.

I think what CParso is assuming, but possibly not correctly, is that JS realizes that in even-numbered years, we have what are typically our 2 or 3 toughest games on the road: Florida, Auburn, Tennessee this year (but it was UGA in 2004). So there is some causational relationship there, not just some random coincidences.

Did you get hit in the head by a tree limb when Katrina blew threw there. Ally will be back and he will lead the team in rushing. Vincent will do just fine along w/the other running backs. Watch the Miami game if you don't believe me. I stated earlier when a white boy puts up 70 yards and a TD on 13 carries against that bad @$$ Miami Defense you know we going to have a good rushing game next year. And QB, we have three guys that can start on any team in the nation.

Assuming that he is fully recovered. We won't know that for sure until Fall gets here. It's already been said that he won't fully be ready for Spring.

I feel confident in the running game mostly due to the recruits we've signed the past 2 years, but if the Oline struggles they will as well.
