Can't remember who was on the mound today....yesterday, Gorsuch pitched really well but she is constantly working on that crow hop. I was surprised she didn't called more often, if she did at all. Michigan and James Madison game today was an awesome pitching duel. Walk-off homer in the 12th I think, ended it. Pretty sure I heard that notre dame stranded 34 base runners today. Horrible stat. TA&M eliminated at the regional for the first time in 19 years. Stanford, Arkansas, Ohio St, BYU all eliminated. Ragin Cajuns looking to eliminate Ole Piss tomorrow. Sakerlina has to beat the Noles tomorrow to avoid elimination. Pretty sure that at the moment, the only regional that is finished is Stillwater with Oklahoma State moving on. Auburn and Col State battling right now. So far, no seeded teams have been eliminated.
Revisiting after the Gophers have made it to the supers. They didn't play a home game this season until March 29th. 31 freaking straight games on the road. Once they got home, their record was 19-3, only one of those losses was at home. Clearly the committee saw the direction they were headed rather than look at pre-season tournaments in Florida, Tuscaloosa, and Arizona. They will be tough to beat. Tigers will have to play their best ball of the season.
I saw these guys on TV a couple of times when I was a lot younger. Maybe middle school or high school.
