    By the way they are wearing the white helmet, the ones worn in 2007 when LSU played Tulane at the dome.

    The 40,000 are likely to be more vocal than when the stadium is full. They are people who want to be at the game, instead of going to a big party before and being worn-out by the time the teams kick off.

    That was before HDTV for every game. A big issue for season ticket holders is that this was the only weekend in a straight month without a home game. Other plans had been made. Even stadium announcer Dan Borne will not make this game. Out-of owners don't have rooms reserved or travel plans in place.

    It is surprising more locals and students didn't take advantage of the situation to score some good seats.
