I think we took a step down also, but I wouldn't want Brick or Chavis back. I'd take O over both of them, and I'd throw in Steele and Peveto as well, take all 4 of em. From DC to DC we didn't upgrade, from DL to DL we upgraded big time.
BTW, Gamble was the kicker when the ran it back for a TD. He was obviously supposed to put it in the left corner.
I hear ya. I cursed many a game at 'Third and Chavis' and I'm not going to even discuss the two Bama meltdowns , but now we're seeing wides running loose and complete breakdowns in secondary. Chavis had his faults, but Steele is a deep deep step down.
The Guice is loose! We'll change his name like they did Theisman- (you have to be old enough to get that.)
Well, 200+ total yds to a SS coached team doesn't seem that bad. Pts were mainly due to poor STs play, IMO. We did win......nearly doubled their score in V formation to end game in scoring position. Not bad really.
Your opinion would be right. Every point they scored was a result of either the special teams fucking up or the special teams giving up great field position.
