be truthful.....besides football, does any other sport really matter? or is it just a way to kill time until next football season. for me honestly, it's all about football....i try but don't succeed at the others.
Baseball is my main sport, so yes it does matter. It matters to me that baseball has won more national titles than football and they can't even get an upgrade to the stadium. I like football, but I also like baseball.
FOOTBALL ONLY OR WHAT? :champs: SPORTS WISE, I live for football season. I fully understand that it's "to each his own", but if there was never another basketball game on earth, I wouldn't miss the sport. Having said that, I fully support EVERY LSU contest, even if it's tiddly winks. But when football season is over, my TV goes off until late August. That's one reason this board is so interesting during the off season. :lsug: :geaux:
Basketball is a sport that all of us can compete in. Football is for people that have helmets, pads, and uniforms. That said, basketball is a close #2 to football.
Nothing compares to College Football. Basketball is fun, but doesn't even come close to Football. Football is all that matters. Ribbon dancing and underwater ballet is nice though.
The other sports may not "appeal" to everyone, but they "matter" to someone. We all have our favorites. Even though I live for Saturday Night in Death Valley, I still love Baseball just as much and very rarely miss a game even though I live 70 miles away.
Sure they matter to someone. The group I go to football games with, also go to the baseball games. I'm not one of them, although I do go to the basketball games, some of them don't go to the PMAC. With the rich Tiger baseball tradition the last decade or so, wish I could follow, but you can have it. The only time I will pay attention would be if it's on tv.
