LSU sports Network question

    That brings up another issue for me.. Baton Rouge needs talk radio on FM.. sports and otherwise...

    Agreed. But, I dont think that Sports Talk FM is something that this market will want to try. The talk stations already dont have great numbers. Well, aside from WJBO. Hell, WIBR's numbers are hanging right around The Score. They are both really low from what I hear. Like 1 and 2 shares in the market.

    thats because you can't catch the score in most parts of town. If you wanna listen you almost have to get the streaming audio. If it was FM my radio would never leave that station. The contract was just renewed with 98.1 so it will be a long time before its up again. Also the move to 98.1 was the best thing they could have done. You get a clear signal from No to Iowa to central mississippi.

    98.1 is going to the dumps. I can't stand it anymore. The music selection isnt what it used to be. The only thing that keeps me interested in it is the Tigers. I'd love an fm sports station, but I just dont see it happening here.
