Up until 3 or 4 years ago I used to buy a copy of the Advocate every day. The daily edition was 75 cents and Sunday $2. One Thanksgiving morning I bought a copy and they charged me $2. As we all know Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday. I asked why the $2 and told the cashier it might seem like a Sunday since it's a holliday but it's really Thursday. She told me the increased charge was because of all the extra content. The extra content was all the merchants ads for Black Friday sales. The Advocate made big money on all those ads and then want the customer to pay extra for all the extra paper they had to use to print the ads.

Whether the NCAA will investigate I have no way of knowing but the way these things keep popping up it's a good bet they will sooner or later.

The NCAA doesn't have the resources to pursue investigating everyone suspected of paying players. My ample gut tells me it's a big number.
