To The Advocate (and any paper that charges content access subscriptions):

I'll be tempted to buy a subscription the minute you guarantee that any paid subscription will result in a complete absence of advertisements on your website the moment I log in with my login credentials as a paying customer.

Oh, and in case you didn't know...if you delete your cookies from any website that gives you a limited number of freee articles per month, that counter magically gets set back to zero.

Not sure how but i get alerts and articles from the advocate all the time and i don't pay or have the app

I have the app but I don't get notifications from it. I turned off notifications in settings.

The Advocate and NOLA.com are merging. The Georges bought out the Times-Picayune.

I have the app and don’t pay anything to read the articles. Nothing comes up about a payment.
