That's how it was when I was a student going to the games too. Guest tickets were normal price tickets, but general admission for the student section.
I can remember the good old days of saving seats. I remember in the fall of 1983 LSU played a highly ranked Washington team and beat them. Students were literally sitting on the steps between the rows. You could barely navigate down for a trip to the bathroom or for concessions. It was jam packed. That game set an attendance record for the time. All you LSU students better enjoy the experience while you can ! only game i have ever been to was vs. arkansas in 03... got hooked up iwth tickets for the greek section.. good view...
I was there with my son. Washington came in highly rated and kind of smug. It was a day game according to my memory. LSU "owned" them. Had to be embarrassing to Washington.
I have been going crazy about tickets too... I have been Europe for a month and the internet isnt really abundant... I am glad that they havent sent any info yet, because it means i will still be able to get tickets
