Back in the old days, not too many schools took college baseball seriously. It wasn't nearly as competitive as it is now. And changes to the aluminum bat a few years ago neutralized our power advantage. Lastly, the expansion to 64 teams and the Super Regional has made it more difficult. The old days are gone ... and total domination has gone with it!
