Hell I had to edit it three times because it just didn't "look right". Spell correction on these dang puters had dun gone and ruined my spellin'.
You're right. WTF was I thinking. Geaux Tigers Bama will be Tiger Bait Les Rules and Saban blows Purple and Gold over Roll Tide Roll Be informed that this sudden change of heart has nothing to do with the fact that I just learned of "reputation", being "red dotted" and other forms of social acceptance or non acceptance on this establishment.
What's up with all these rival posters suddenly feeling the love for LSU? First OrlandoTrojan acts like she's one of us, now this guy.
Great thing is...that was LAST year...and THIS year is NOW! Heck yeah, luck plays a part. We were lucky to be involved in the BCSNCG in '03...I remember leaving the SECCG thinking to myself..."Self, it's POSSIBLE we could jump OU, since they just got TROUNCED by KState". Then on the way to the hotel, listening to the radio...I hear how important the Hawaii game is later that night. Sure enough, the planets aligned...and whoever lost that game was also a team that USC had beaten earlier that year...and this hurt their SOS or something...allowing US to go to the MNC. Moral of the story...luck is a factor...but BB is right. You usually make your own luck. :thumb:
I realize that there are Bama fans who are still questioning whether Miles is going to make it or not. Honestly, and there is no offense intended, I think this year will be the defining year. We'll see. He earned a lot of respect from me when he held the team together during the Katrina episode. It was a defining moment for your program: one to be proud of. However, I do think it is worth mentioning that it isn't just Bama fans who question Miles. I know you guys don't care for half of what comes out of Glenn Guilbeau's mouth, but he says the same thing. LINK Florida. The team he missed on was Arkansas, but he did say that the Bama game vs Arkansas would define both teams seasons. I firmly believe, if Arkansas would have lost that game they wouldn't have had the success they did last season. The same goes for this year. When they come to T-town, and lose, you'll see them drop out of national rankings and their season will end up with 4-5 losses...call it 4th in the West.
Been out on jobsites for the last two days and I am trying to catch up and I am seeing that you really had some fun at my expense when I wasn't around to defend myself!
