The jury is in. Jordan Jefferson is the read deal. The defense has their coordinator in place. The best class ever coming in with lots of Spring semester kids. I was really concerned about a loss and a preseason ranking anywhere from 18-25. Forget that. Top 10. Who knows how high at this point.
Honestly though, just being in the SEC we do not have to be ranked. Just getting the job done and winning will put us in NC contention.
Where are the idiots with all the "5 plays" nonsense? I guess he learned an extra play or two in the time off. :rolleye33: Lee needs to look for another school in which there will be a chance for him to win the QB spot. He won't do it here. Jefferson + Shepard = Lee with no chance.
I do wish Lee well. He will always be remembered as the only QB who could finally win at Auburn, and it was all because of him. I fully expect him to transfer at some point in the Spring. PS - you forgot about Garrett. Our ace in the hole.
After tonights performance so far... I agree whole heartedly. No room for Lee imo, or hatch for that matter. No with Garrett also coming in.
I hope he goes somewhere else and sets records (not pick 6 records). I appreciate the effort, but there is no room at LSU with the guys we have/coming in. And I didn't forget about Garrett, I just forgot his name. :hihi:
