With a lot of teams unwilling to play us, it's difficult to complain about the perenially strongest D-2 team who will, to open the season on national TV. It will creat great hype and increase viewership for the game and get the Tigers off to a great start in the public eye...if they play to potential. Being the first game, lots can happen.

Ok, I am thinking positive now. This game will be hyped as two defending champions facing off. There are some nice story lines here.

    ........ right? :)

I don't like playing D-II teams at all.

We are the only SEC school not to have a BCS team on the OOC schedule.

    Big time Buzzkill!!!

I had my hopes up. I guess that's what I get for being so optimistic, or what we get for winning the NC.

What BCS school wants to come to Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night in the Fall?

Michigan feels the same way too...I just hope we treat 'em w/ a bit more respect and take care of things early..As we have all learned...anything can happen!

"Good afternoon, Tiger fans. Great news - we have asked John Brady to step down. Butch Pierre will be coaching the team for the rest of the season. Oh yeah, one more thing, we are starting the 08 football season with Appalachian State. Now Coach Brady would like to speak."

"First of all, I am very thankful for my time here at LSU. It has been my pleasure to coach here at LSU. By the way, did you guys see the latest dummy that LSU football scheduled?"

What's wrong with having a big time road game? It's too much about the $$$ that the extra home game gives the Athletic Department. It seems like that anyway....

Going to Arizona in 2003 didn't seem to hurt us.
