SC is pretty corrupt, but you have to give them credit from not running away from a tough OOC schedule.
The Pac-10 looks pretty good so far this season. Washington is probably going to beat a ranked Boise State team that defeated Oklahoma and you've got Oregon just pounding on Michigan. Those are both middle of the road Pac-10 teams.
Is that the same Michigan that lost to App. State? The only question at this point is who is crappier - Michigan or Notre Dame? I guess we'll find out next week!
Michigan is getting lit up by Oregon, but I still think Michigan could still potentially do pretty well in the Big 10. Michigan's achilles heal is its speed on defense, but it won't have to worry about that as much when it plays other Big 10 teams. At the same time, after seeing its national championship aspirations blow up like this, Michigan players might just give up and roll over for the rest of the season. It all depends on how Carr can pull the team together, if he can rally his team the way Stoops did with Oklahoma last year. But, at this point, Carr is a lame duck coach and he's definitely not coming back next season.
Michigan is being out played, out hustled, out coached, out every thinged. IMO Carr is incapable of turning it around. They will probably be lucky to finish .500
Yeah, its obvious that Michigan just quit and gave up in this game and that doesn't forebode well for the rest of their season. Despite all that talent and a weak Big 10, Michigan probably isn't going to dominate the Big 10 as many expected. If Carr was going to turn it around the season, Michigan would have come out and redeemed itself against Oregon. Too bad for this ND fan cause as long as Carr was coaching, then Michigan would always underperform.
Fresno State is another team that goes out of its way to schedule a brutal OOC schedule, and they must do that mostly at the opposing team's field. I think they've played 30 BCS teams, and had less than 5 of those games at home. Why doesn't LSU play Texas A&M?
