LSU to rise to the Top - sorry Grumps - short run over

well, i did get past the first line, and i hope you are right about everything else after that first line.

interesting thoughts really, regarding sec ch. going thru hog country - may be right, or they may do what ole piss did last year with all of the hype. their coach has a weird brain, no conscience, so he may be able to overcome the hype in some sort of wacky way. agree with UF being a big question given the players (almighty TT et al) and coach losses they sustained, and CUMs panic attack problems. believe it or not, i am personally not really sold on his coaching abilities until he proves it in the SEC post-Teblow era.

with all of that said, LSU has a chance to overcome their inept offense (they can only go up, right?) and should improve on defense and surprise the naysayers. of course, offseason breeds optimism, but if the o-line shows up allowing the running game to improve and JJ to run a better offense, we can be formidable. look for ford to be a beast if he can get some holes opened (he kind of reminds me of a young Emmitt Smith), and look for RS to be a factor this year!

yeah the other likeness i see, is RS to Jerry Rice. not saying he will have the same career, but their body styles remind me of each other, and now he is a WR. lets hope.

I have been a Tiger my entire life and love beating Bama more than any other single team but I have a high regard Bama and what they have done on the field

 

I stopped after the 1st sentence as well. (I even went back and tried to get past that 1st line, but I felt nauseated so I had to quit again) Personally I think a Tiger fan saying something like "Right off let me say I love Bama football." right off the bat causes people to discredit them. No one even likes the gumps around here much less loves them. Just saying.....
